Victoria Falls Safari Club Accused Of Discriminating Locals

Victoria Falls Safari Club Accused Of Discriminating Locals

Luxury safari club has failed to protect domestic tourist from discrimination. According to a complaint posted on NAME & SHAME THEM (ZIMBABWE) facebook page by Leila Bhika.

Leila Bhaka said that they were given a different food menu than what foreigners were given.

“Would like to name and shame Victoria Falls Safari Club for such bad treatment to fellow Zimbabweans.

We were given a different menu to foreigners…the same thing which we requested and were told was not available was freely available to foreigners.

Asking for a fork…being told…”use that spoon over there”.

Such horrible awful treatment as if we had not paid for our stay and we were there for free.Treated rudely by staff just because we Zimbabweans…whilst we watched foreigners being treated correctly.” Leila Said

Many visitors on safari in Zambia, Botswana and/or South Africa plan an overnight stop at the world-famous Victoria Falls – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the “Seven Natural Wonders of the World.”

Another visit to the place Bradford Smith said “Similar experience at the Safari Lodge, shown to dirty room, moved, dirty again, whilst my American guests got one over looking the watering hole which was perfect. Treatment was disgusting. Now, I purposefully tell people to stay elsewhere. I suggest you all do the same, Safari Club, Saf Lodge the same mentality. I’ve had much better experience at Ilala and the Shearwater Village…”

Mrs Debbie Purse added that his is not racial, but pure discrimination.
